Mirica
The name is Croatian, and the meaning can either be "peace" or "world."

I don't really like it, I think the -ica makes it too fussy or childish or something. But I don't dislike it, it's pretty enough and has a great meaning, just not my thing. Maybe it could grow on me. Like other people said, it kind of makes me think of those people who say 'Merica, but that doesn't really matter.
I do like Mira. And a bit off topic but I really love peace names too, my favourites are Irene / Irina / Eirene, Salome, Shulamit, Frida.

It's pretty but I wouldn't name my daughter this.
It would make a good character name.

I rather like it if it is being pronounced in Croatian (with the ts sound for the C). An English pronunciation would ruin it a bit for me.
I love the meaning. I like the name as well, both in look and sound. Miri and Mira would be nice nns for it...
The only thing I don't like is that it reminds me of the word "'Murrica"...

It's nice, though reminds me of that whole saying 'merica trend that rednecks tend to have... The meaning is lovely though, but honestly I'd stay away from it.
I think it's pronounced mee-RIT-sa, so you don't have to worry about that! :)
MEE-ree-tzah actually, but yes, not like 'merica’ at all.
Well that's a bit better...
Definitely prettier when said like that, though if used in America (or somewhere where it's not really known to say it that way) I'd change the spelling to avoid confusion. Just my two cents. :)
