Funny seeing this here as I knew Jessica Bratich when she was a child/teenager. Her father was my karate coach. I imagine Rubika is a Balkan name as that's where her father's family are from. I think Rubika Anne is cute.Sloane is horrid on a girl. Ellie is adorable. Ellie Sloane would have been much better.Jacob Matthew Lloyd is fine. I hate the spelling of Jaeda, but Jaeda Ruby sounds fine. Kira Grace is lovely.Alexander Norman is fine. I also like Lucia, Hamish, James and Nicholas. I just wish they'd looked up the origin of Hamish before they used James too.Camille Winter is nms but there's nothing wrong with it.

I forgot about Sloane Ellie...I tried to repress it, I guess. I agree Sloane is horible, but I think it'd be horrible on a boy too.The combo Sloane Ellie sounds like Slow Nellie.

No, Rubika isn’t used here. My guess is that they just elaborated on Ruby via Annika, Danika, etc. ETA:
I found this online: 'It is understood the unusual name is a nod to one of the couple's grandmothers.' No idea what the grandmother is named (I’d guess Ruby).EETA: Yes, Jessica’s grandmother’s name is Ruby and the baby was named after her. (http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/breaking/15733345/johnson-loves-being-a-dad/) And wow, I now know waaay more than I ever wanted to about two people I’d never heard of before (and her dad and his mum and....), lol.
