I vastly prefer Alexandria and have it on my LONG list of likes. Estelle is...okay.

I would use Estelle. I think it's more unexpected and has more personality. Plus, I generally love vintage names, so it's right up my alley.

Definitely Estelle! It's spunky. I love it.

I would choose Estelle. I like that it's shorter. Alexandria is pretty, but it seems like a bit too much, and my friend Alexandria was just another Alex when it came to school time so the name didn't really stand out. Estelle is rather uncommon, but it's not a difficult name and I've always been a fan of -elle names. It is somewhat difficult to make a combo for though.

Alexandria because I think it is so much more pretty than Estelle. Yes it may get confused with Alexandra, and yes she may have it shorted to Alex or Lex which I personally dislike. But Estelle may get confused with Estella, and I loathe the nickname Stella.

Stella is good; Stella and Alexa would be a good sibset, in fact. But Alexandria is too long and too geographical, and Estelle is like whiney country music.

I prefer Alexandria, although its a little fussy. I would probably go for Alexandra but either one us better than Estelle in my opinion.

Alexandria, because I find the Egyptian connection exotic. Also, Estelle will forever make me think of George Costanza's mother on "Seinfeld." Not the best connection. Heh.

Estelle, I prefer Estella and Stella but Estelle is very pretty too. Alexandria is gorgeous but too similar to the ever popular Alexandra, Alexa, Alexis and Lexi.

Estelle because Alexandria is strictly a city to me. If the choices were Alexandra or Estelle, I'd choose Alexandra. If the choices were Alexandra or Estella, I'd go with Estella. That one letter difference makes all the difference to me.

Alexandria is so long, sometimes I feel like... well, like it's trying too hard. Estelle, on the other hand, is glamorous - and different enough from the now-trendy Stella that it shouldn't bore people.
