Yes!!!
I've always like Frances because it is a family name for me and wouldn't mind using it as a middle name. But recently I met a young lady who really changed the image of the name for me - she's African-American, about 19 years old, sweet, friendly, encouraging and very cute.
I've also met a pretty college student named Susan who has a younger sister named Frances and another red-haired friend who gets called Frances by her family quite a bit because it's one of her two middle names and honors her grandfather's sister.
I've found myself falling for this name and what's more my sister who prefers more trendy names likes Frances a lot lately too!
It's definitely time for this charming old-fashioned name to have a comeback!
