Honestly, its got pretty much all the qualities I really hate in a name. It's tryndee, uninteresting, kry8tyvv, boring, and too masculin for a girl.

I prefer Cailin, which I think is lovely.

I prefer it spelled Kailyn. But I like the sound, a little different from Kaitlyn... and it's not a bad name. A little too trendy / popular for me personally.

Personally, I find this name very bland, for either sex. But it's not a bad name. The problem is that I've met so many! It is very, very popular! Of the Caylens, Kaylens, & Caylins I've met, only one was a girl, and it worked for her, although I tend to think of Kaylen as more of a boy's name.
