Remus, Regulus, and Urania
WDYT of Remus, and Regulus? Yes very Harry Potterish, but I don't care, as I love HP. I really like Remus more, any MN suggestions? or FN Suggestions?WDYT of Urania as a mn? I like it i got it off of Charlotte's Web.

How very astronomical of you! They are all too much for me. Maybe a bit Star Treky as well.

I love both Remusn and Regulus. I agree that people will probably often associate it to Harry Potter, but I don't think it's a bad thing because the character is so incredibly awesome that I haven't even heard of anyone who doesn't like him :-) Regulus is very cool and interesting, too. I'd use either of these names anytime. Urania is nice, too. I've nver cared much about the sound of it (probably because it makes me think of the word "urine"...), but I love the Muse association. It's definitely not a bad name, though.

Urania also reminds me of the word 'urine' I'm glad I'm not alone! xDDRemus and Regulus are 'strong' names to me, I like them. =]

Being the Harry Potter freak I am...I refuse to say anything bad about the names of Harry Potter people. I do all the same like both Remus and Regulus. I don't really like Urania though. Another suggestion that is rather similar though is Urbana, which I kind of like!Remember CEDRIC DIGGORY: The REAL Hogwarts ChampionImage Hosted by ImageShack.us

What about Voldemort? Or Draco? Or Lucius? I used to love the name Lucius until HP... now I don't think I'll ever see it in the same way. But, thanks to Underworld, I've been turned to Lucian instead which I like better anyway.Btw, I love Cedric. I went on a date with Rob Pattinson once. Good God do I love him.

My mother was a history major so I grew up with the History Channel moreso than the Disney channel and so Remus has been one of my favorite names, really, since I was a little girl. But the HP association is cool too because Remus Lupin is one of the coolest characters ever. I'd use Remus in a heartbeat :)Regulus, though not as popular is a pretty cool name as well but I just don't like the possibly nn of Reggie (reminds me of Reggie from the Archie comics - I read those a lot as a kid so it really sticks out in my mind. He was not a nice guy.).Urania is... different. I think it'd take some getting used to, personally. But it has promise :)edit: I prefer Ourania for the sp. of Urania - much prettier and not so similar to Uranus that way!I love names from myth.

Remus is OK for an mnRegulus reminds me of boring stuff, nmsUrania reminds me of the word urine, and but I like it anyway, and it sounds good with Angeline

I sort of like it, and I sort of don't.
I think it would sound nice with longer middle names, like Remus Alexander :o)Regulus just doesn't work for me because the first things that come to mind are "rules and regulations" and "regular"...Urania...well, let's just say there are a lot of jokes about this name concerning Ur-Anus, and there is an element on the periodic table I think (uranium, right?), although it does sound pretty. But I don't think I'd use it
Edited because I forgot to mention Regulus and then Urania was added :o)
