I do find this interesting but I take it with a grain of salt since it's not a perfect representation of BtN since some people don't always put down their list each month and some people do it every month. Also some people are here every year and some people only come on temporarily or intermittently. But thanks for compiling all the data. I do find it very interesting.

Like we now can guess that a lot of people really like Theodore, William, and Henry and at least some of them consistently like them each year but they might be more changing in their feelings about girl names. As you said that is also similar to actual country based popularity lists. Boys names tend to stay about the same while gils names tend to change more frequently and wildly as trends shift. The girls list contains more trendy choices and less classic in comparison to the boy list. People feel like they can or they feel like they should choose more adventurous name choices with their daughters.
