Wait, so Susannah is "honky" but Susanna isn't?? Elisabeth but not Elizabeth?
>These I agree are HONKY:
Sylvie, Alice, Charlotte, Rosemary, Astrid, Eleanor, Susannah, Eloise, Katherine, Annabel (even though personal experience tells me otherwise), Bridget, Catherine, Claire, Margaret, Juliet, Julia, Stella, Katharine, Eirlys, Adelaide, Aoife, Elinor, Emmeline
>These should be considered HONKY:
Mary, Eira, Sophia, Susanna, Saga, Tullia, Anouk, Bonnie, Lumi, Irmelin, Kinborough, Lily
>Would not consider these HONKY:
Iris, Louisa, Phoebe, Helena, Lydia, Eve, Lucy, Delphine, Genevieve, Maeve, Matilda, Florence, Elisabeth, Cordelia, Miriam, Willow, Beatrix, Saskia, Eulalie, Caroline, Daphne, Tamsin, Artemis, Isadora, Xanthe, Calliope, Dahlia, Sonnet, Theodora, Tirzah, Anastasia, Fable,

Yea, I'd say so. This is obviously a personal reaction and nothing factual, and I associate Susanna with, well, the Marriage of Figaro... a different kind of honky

Changing the "z" to "s" in Elizabeth is a choice I can totally understand, but it does strike me as kind of prissy.
