Am I way off track here if Elsianne kind of sort of reminds me of the pronunciation of Halcyon with the H dropped? Probably, hm?
Anyway, it's kind of "too late" for me now. You see, while I'm usually not a huge fan of "made-up" names (with the odd exception), I think I like Elisanne due to my Halcyon association which makes me think of "halcyon days" and yeah... it probably helps, too, that Elisanne fits in with other names ending in -anne.
So I don't think it's horrible, I like it better than "just Elsie" and it has piqued my interest.
