Ross?
What do you think of the name Ross? I don't know what happened; but all of the sudden I really like it. I have never really thought about this name much before, but I probably would have said I disliked the name Ross if someone asked . Although Ross stores and the character on Friends (which I've never watched so have no idea if it's a bad thing or not) are unappealing bearers of this name, Ross still seems charming to me.

It's my brother's name. It's ok. I think it feels a bit too abrupt though. My brother gets his name confused for Russ a whole lot too. He has actually had people ask him if it was short for Rossell. Ha! Not sure if they're serious or not...

I think it's nice! Not overcomplicated and decidedly masculine.I suppose Ross from Friends is my main association, but that's not really a bad thing. The character is fine and there are plenty of kids called Rachel, Phoebe etc.

Ross is a name that I always surprise myself by liking. I know nothing about the shops or the character, and it just has a somewhat Scottish vibe for me - striding through the heather in a cosy kilt!
