I don't like it either. Nor do I like Charlotte, and I only vaguely like Amelia.
Alice just has a gross sound to me. I don't like the -iss ending. Too much like "penis."
But don't get me wrong--I'd rather see it than Brianna, or even Isabella or Ava.
