Twin girls
The twin sister of one of my closest friends and her wife welcomed twin girls last Friday. They named them Thea (prn. teh-a, not thee-a) and Esther. I don't know their middle names.
Thea is apparently a family name. They decided on Thea quite early on and I suggested Thea and Ruth (because they wanted something Biblical). A couple of days later I thought of Esther and I texted my friend just to find out that they had already decided that Esther was going to be the other twin's name. I'm secretly very impressed by the fact that I chose the exact same name as they did. ;)
Anyway, what do you think of Esther and Thea for twin girls?

Oh, I think it's an unexpectedly perfect pairing.

Love it!Esther is one of my favourites and Thea is fine, although I don't love it. Esther and Ruth would've been good!

Lego names. But for the -s-, you could take them apart and put them together in reverse order and finish where you started. I much prefer your first option of Ruth, though I do know a pleasant Esther of grandmotherly age.

I like Thea a lot, especially with this spelling. I don't care for Esther at all. If I were forced to use it, it doesn't even have any cute nicknames!Congratulations to their family!
