Nicky?
I being drawn to Nicky (m) at the moment, not sure why, I think it's cute on a young boy but it doesn't age so well so would unusable as a full name? I dislike Nicholas with a passion, so what are other names that could result as Nicky as a nickname that are usable in the UK? Thanks for all you're opinions and suggestions in advance :)

Dominic works really well. But honestly I just like Nick on its own a lot. I think it works as full name, even etymologically - it just means "victory." Nicky is kind of silly as a full name, maybe, but Nick is cool. I'd compare it to Freddy-Fred-Frederick, except Nicky is maybe a little more infantile than Freddy. Anyway.

Yeah, not really full name material in my books. Although I know a Danny (full name) who is 33 and it seems to suit him, so I guess it can work. I hate Nicholas too. How about
Nico/Niko
Nicodemus
Jannick/Yannick
Dominick
Domenico
Niccolo
Nicola
Nicomedo
Besnik
Nikita
anything strike your fancy?

Dominic / Dominick could work in the UK, with Nicky as a nickname.I think Nicky is nice for a kid but I agree that it's a bit too cutesey for a full name, although they could be Nick as an adult.
