Spencer
What kind of person comes to mind? Does it age well?

I tend to think of a strong boy, but not overly masculine either. Confident and level-headed. Perceptive of others, maybe a little too much. Probably a little self-sacrificing and very loyal. I like it. It's one of the few names that I can't see a bad side to. It's classy and ages well and can fit different lifestyles and personalities. It's never been in my top ten or anything, but it's just a really great name in my opinion.
Winter underwear.
The only Spencer I've ever met was an adult, and he was a handyman/contractor.
I can definitely see it as a little boy's or a teeneger's name, too. I think it ages well, and I don't really associate it with any type of person.

I feel like every Spencer I have ever met has glasses and is a bit on the nerdy side. Also, in my mind's eye, Spencer's limbs are a bit too long and gangly for his body. :) A perpetual teenager.
I think it could age just fine, though.

I would expect a Spencer to be kind of pretentious. Maybe in their mid twenties wearing a suit and acting like a big man, when he actually is just a normal guy.
I suppose I can imagine a kid called Spencer as well. I think it would age ok.

Because of a show I used to watch, I think of Spencer as a really crazy fun young man who doesn't take his responsibilities all too seriously. I've never met a Spencer in real life, boy or man, so I can't really comment on whether it ages well or not. I kind of like it but it still sort of sounds like a pet's name.
