Caoimhe

It's a beautiful name, but the difference between the spelling and pronounciation is too much for me.
For myself, I wouldn't want a name I was frequently having to explain, however pretty.
Doesn't make me think of kiwi fruit, though!

It sounds nice, but I really think the spelling could be an issue. I might depend where you live on whether people are familiar with the name and can spell it.

Love it, such a gorgeous name. Kiwi fruit? Nup, I don't think of that. I actually think of the name Niamh when I hear Caoimhe.
Yeah, Keeva just looks weird. The spelling of Caoimhe is part of its beauty, even though it makes no phoentic sense to most non-Irish people. I think it's a wonderful name.

I love this name. It's one of my favourites. I love the spelling too. And no, it doesn't make me think of a kiwi fruit. :\
I prefered it before I understood Irish spelling ;-). I used to think it rhymed with Naomi.
Anyways, it's a nice enough name. If you live in the US(Canada, Australia), I don't think it would work so well with this spelling it might go over better in the UK because it'd be more familiar. I don't like the Keeva/Kiva spelling at all, it looks trashy.

Caiomhe is one of my favourite names. I'd use it for a kid if it wasn't too close to Geneva, which I like more.
I don't find keeva or kiva attractive at all. Dumbing down this name ruins it for me.
Yes, the spelling could be a little problematic but heck, Caitlin has so many spellings that you'll even have problems with that one. I've seen people screw up the simplest names. So I'd go with the original spelling. In Aus Sean, Lachlan, Niamh, Siobhan - these are all pretty mainstream. Ella went to school with a Saoirse, Caoimhe, Tadhg & Aoife, ands liv went to gymnastics with an Aoibhe and everyone managed fine.
So I say go for it.
