Arbor
I was reading a magazine and the author was writing about her daughter, Isadora and her daughters friend, Arbor.
I think I like Harbor better than Arbor but both seem a little too over the top for a first name...thoughts?

I don't like it. I love the arbor my parents have, which is a structure for their climbing plants. That's all it could ever be for me.Similarly, Harbor does very little for me as well. It's NMS.Isadora also is NMS, but of the three, I like it best.

I kinda like it. I think it works for a boy or girl.

Both Arbor and Harbor sound more masculine then feminine to me. Harbor strikes me as odd as a first name. Arbor seems less so. I kind of like Arbor, but it's not something I would use myself.

The moment I saw Arbor, I thought of Ann Arbor. As I don't know the city (just remembered the name somehow), I'm neutral about the association. With that said, I feel both Arbor and Harbor aren't the prettiest name for a girl. The -or ending makes it too masculine, so I feel these names are better suited for boys.
