doh-min-NEEK or dahm-in-NEEK ... something in between.
I don't like the idea of pronouncing it like Dominic. -ique does not say ICK.

It's quite a popular name where I live, with the pronounciation you give.
One of my sons has a niece-by-marriage so named. (age 11.)
