Otho
This was my great-grandfather's middle name, and the name people often called him. He was William Otho, and later in life went by "W.O."Any thoughts on Otho? It's pronounced like OATH-oh.

I too think of "Beetlejuice". Damn me, and my pop culture associations.

Ooh, I really like it! It's distinguished but edgy.

There's a secondary character named Otho in the film Beetlejuice - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beetlejuice. It's quite a famous film, but I guess it's probably a niche market type of thing. The aforementioned Otho is a flamboyant artiste with questionable dress sense and little moral fibre. Anyway, I just know that there's an Otho in it because I watched it fairly recently. It's also an association a few, but not a huge number of, people may well hate.
