Re: Callie

Cali could only rhyme Sally or volley, and because of California being called Cali, it wouldn't occur to me to pronounce it like volley. I'd have to be instructed. I don't think that a nn for Calista would need to be spelled Cali. I'd make it Callie. The way there's a K in Vicki but not in Victoria.
Callie works on its own, but I would not want a name like that.
I'd rather see/be Callista nn Callie. Or Calista nn Callie.
Calista or Callista? I don't like this question ;-) Either. I think Calista's prettier, but I'd probably choose to use or be Callista because it looks more authentic and less glammy to me.
I hate Calliope, ugh. No. Anyway, the nick for that should be Lye or Peepee or Lypi or Clype.
Pascale or Pascalra = Callie.
Callista could also be nicknamed Lissy, Liss etc.
