Best full name for the nickname Millie?
I was wondering what your favorite name was that you could use the nickname Millie.
Millicent and Mildred don't thrill me. Other ideas?
Does Amélie "Millie" work?

I just thought of Melisande. I love that name!

Milena, Milada, Milusha, Miloslava.
My personal favorite is Matilda. Some other ideas though:
Amelia
Camilla
Camille
Emilia

Milly is a darling nn. You've already gotten so many great suggestions. Sorry for any repeats:
Melisande (variant of Millicent)
Melody
Emily / Emilie / Emilia / Amelie / Emiliane / Emiliana (yes, Amelie, nn Millie, works perfectly well!)
Jamila
Camille / Camilla
Marcelline
Camellia
Mireille
Mila / Mileva (Einstein's first wife)
Muriel
Melanie
Imelda
Mary / Marisol (if Molly can be a nn, I think Milly has just as much of a claim, harrumph)
Melissa
Marilla
Carmel / Carmella
Magdalene / Madeleine
Sulis Minerva
Demelza
Domitilla
Olympia (!)
Emmeline
Michaela / Miguela
Matilda
Mahalia
Florimel
Wilhelmina / Wilmotine / Wilmotina (a stretch, but it could still work)
Obviously, my tolerance for nns that aren't scientifically drawn from teh formal name is quite high. So take some of these will a grain of salt and pepper. Good luck in your search!

How about Romilly?
If I had to use Millie, I would use Romilly nn Millie/ Milly (although I prefer Romilly as-is).
Amelie nn Millie works, but again, I much prefer Amelie without any nn.

I find Millicent rather cute in an old way, Mildred is definitely a no-no. I have only ever met two other Millies, one is Millicent and one is Amelia. I have never liked Amelia haven't the nickname Millie but I think Amelie works better depending on how you pronounce it.
As an end-note: Millie is my full name, no nickname here for me. And I love it as my name personally, I think Millie is brilliant and simple, and a name in it's own right. But I am biased.

Someone I've met a couple of times has a daughter named Emilia "Millie". I think Amélie works too.
And perhaps Melina? I've heard of Mellie is a nickname for it, so why not Millie?

I like Emilia or Camilla as full names for Millie.
I know three Millies, although one of them is a Milly. Two are Amelia and one is Millicent. I like Amelia best as a full name for Millie, Camilla is quite nice too. Amelie definitely works.
How about Camille?
