I like it just fine except I don't care for it smooshed together. I briefly toyed with Anne-Marie while PG with my youngest. I don't think it's too old fashioned or boring. I mean, I've know women who were Anna, Anne / Ann or Annie, however, I've never known an Annemarie (of any spelling). That makes it a little more distinctive.
I like Anneliese a lot. I prefer the German pronunciation (ah-nah-LEE-zuh) but like the English one as well (Anna-lease). Between the two, Annemarie seems fresher.
