I would rate it higher but it always bothers me that it is the name of a state. I have the same problem with Georgia.
Though Virginia and Columbia are probably my favorite state / district names for girls. I know they were names before they were a state and a district but I just find it so hard to get past.
Also I dislike that Virginia has virgin in it.
I like Virginia with the nn Ginnie / Ginny. Virgie / Virgy is also cute but reminds me of the word virgin. But I guess Ginny sounds a bit like gin, but I still like Ginny as a nn.
I like this name but don't love it. I prefer the names Eugenia, Regina, and Georgina. I like the nn Genie for all three of these.
I like Alice Virginia, is a nice enough combo. I don't love it or hate it. It is usable and I like it. The combo Alice Virginia has a lot of i's so I think it will look best with a surname that contains an i or two but doesn't have too many i's. That way it will match but won't look overboard.
