Re: Ebba, Alina, Ilona
in reply to a message by Ninor
The only one I, personally, dislike is Ebba and that is entirely because of the sound. It just doesn't work for my ear and doesn't "feel" like something to call a person, but I enjoy Elva and Emma. I have a similar, though less severe, glitch with Alba, but I really like Alva.Alina and Ilona are both fine; I prefer the former's beginning sound over the latter's, though I do like the latter's long "o" and I love Iona. Ilona also does make me think of the words, "lone" and "alone". In general, I tend not to go for names that begin with "Il", but that doesn't mean I think there's anything wrong with the names themselves. Let's see if I can come up with anything helpful...Ebba Clotilde
