Plácido
WDYT of Plácido? Also, do you think Hernán works on its own as a mn, or would Hernando be better?

I think of Placido Domingo, but that's a good association. Sadly, I also think of "placebo".
Not fond of either Hernán or Hernando, sorry.

I like Plácido. It is very tied to Plácido Domingo, but that's not a bad thing, and it's not so strong an association that it feels like a "one person" name. In a vacuum, I prefer Hernando, but Hernán sounds better to me with Plácido.

I think it's nice, but it's really tied to Placido Domingo and Placido Polanco (for many less people, but still). Which aren't bad things, but I think of them first.I like the sound of Hernán, I think I prefer it to Hernando. Although I do like the -nando sound, it's fun. Hmm.
