Roberta
I've been head over heels for this name recently, I can't get it out of my head. So what do you think, old and tired? Or ready to come out of the box again? Would you find it pleasing or repulsive on a young girl? Opinions on the nickname Bo and combos: Roberta Brooke and/or Roberta Marie. Other combo suggestions welcome. Thanks! :-)

My cousin is named this. I think Bobbie/Bobbi and Robbie seem like feminine enough nicknames. I am pretty sure my cousin has been mostly "Berta," but Birdy is also pretty. My cousin has a common last name and is involved in performing arts, so I think she is happy her first name stands out a bit.

I like Roberta, very mature and sweet! I like Robin, Ro, Bertie, Berta, and Betty for nicknames!

I like Roberta :) I use to hate it but now I think it has a sort of soft and fluffy vintage vibe. Bo is a cute nn but I personally prefer Bertie and Bobbie. Both combos sounds ok but Roberta Marie seems overly dated to me.

I like it. One of my favourite novels is The Railway Children that has a character called Bobbie (short for Roberta). I don't like the nickname Bo on a girl though.I like both the combo Roberta Brooke and Roberta Marie. I think Marie makes it more feminine though.

I actually really like it. I used to hate it but met a really beautiful, young and sweet Roberta and it really grew on me. I only like it said ro-BEHR-ta, not ro-BURR-ta. I don't like any nicknames for it either (no Robbie, Bobbie or Bert, please). I dislike Bo. I only like Beau on a boy. Roberta Brooke is cool. I like how the -ber and -br sound together. Roberta Marie is boring.
