Ondrej or Andre?
I've never really like or hated the name Andre because it's a decent sounding name but it's so common in my community- which is majority African-American.
There was boy with the same last name as me and we had to stand next to each other at our 8th Grade graduation a couple years back. His name was spelled Ondrej and I had never seen it spelled that way. I had heard about him through mutual friends but I never knew how his name was spelled; I assumed it was spelled the common way. I found it refreshing that even though he shared a name with several other African American boys at our school he was unique because his name was spelled like no other. I absolutely love this name now.
Which spelling do you guys like better?

I prefer Andre. Actually André. It's an attractive name.
Ondrej is the Czech and Slovak form for Andrew. It's fascinating, but something I wouldn't use.
