I really dislike Leona. Each to their own, it just has utterly no appeal for me.
Liora is okay. It's not really my style, but the sound is quite nice, I like the meaning and I think it has some of the refinement and charm that Leona lacks.
I'd say go with Liora and cope with correcting people - it's better than actually using Leona, particularly if you don't like the sound.
