Ezra
So I've been looking into the name Ezra, and know lots of people think it's a girl's name. I don't really understand why. I mean, to me it's completely masculine (I guess it ends with an a, but lots of other names end with that sound, Jonah, Noah, Joshua, Josiah, Judah, Asa, Ira, Luca, Elijah, Isaiah, you get the point) and I guess if they're not familiar with the Bible.... What do you think?
And also, do you like Ezra?

I love Ezra. It is one of my favorite Biblical names. If I was a Christian it might be enough of a push in Ezra's favor that we would actually use it. I don't feel that your need to be Christian to use it though.
Ezra is all boy in my opinion. I don't consider it a girls name at all.

I think Ezra is a nice name and most definitely a male name at that. I like it a lot actually.
I HATE when people say it's a girl's name! It's only b/c Americans are ignorant and think that any name ending in -a must be female. It makes me want to kick people.
I would never, ever, EVER consider Ezra a girl's name. I was shocked and appalled the first time I heard that comment made, tbh. It's totally masculine, and an awesome name. It's masculine without being soft, but it's also kind of edgy because of the Z. And even though it's still edgy and modern, it's way old and has the awesome Biblical connection.
I would never think of it as a girls name because my friend hd a little brother called Ezra, he is the only one I have ever met (I am also not overly familiar with the Bible) and so he is all I think of when I hear this name. I don't find it extremely masculine, I find it cute and shy. But yes, I like Ezra.
