Lucy vs. Greta
Which would you choose and why? This is for my new car. She's no Bernice (I had wanted Bernice, but...nope--didn't fit).

LOL, my sister's name is Lucy and her daughter is named Greta. Thus I have trouble picturing either for a car. :-P

For a human, Lucy all the way.For a car ... Greta the Go-Getter does it for me!

I prefer Greta. It's less expected and has more of an edge. It also reminds me of Greta Garbo, so it has an old Hollywood vibe.Lucy is cute, but I prefer it as a nickname.

I'd pick Lucy. I used to have a car named Betsy, and that two-syllable, "xx-see" sound just rolls right off the tongue as you're rolling along.

It depends what you want in a car. Lucy is sporty, zippy and fun. Greta is solid and dependable. Actually, "Greta Lucy" sounds pretty good together. Nn Gretel?

Greta. Lucy is a little played, and besides, I think Greta sounds more like a car name.

I vote Lucy.She allows for humor. :)

For a car, I would choose Lucy. Lucy is more fun to say, which makes it a better name for an object than Greta, which I consider to be a more serious (and beautiful) name.
