It's very beautiful, but not tacky or overused at all. I think it would age well because it's never been very trendy (so people won't always associate it to one particular generation).

I like it. Not sure why, since I don't go for Molly, but that's probably because its' rather common.

I've always liked it, but it sounds kind of 70-ish because of Holly Hobie. But I hear they are bringing her back, so there could be a resurgence of popularity!Best used for Christmas babies, imo.

I love it (but I'm incredibly biased, seeing as it's my name). I think it ages fine.

I really love this name and think it ages just fine.

I love it! It's very cute on a little girl- I know a three-year-old Holly. I imagine it does age well! I like it because it's feminine but not frilly, and it has a nice sound.

I agree with you cute name but I always picture a Holly as a child or a teen-ager.

It's been consistently popular for years here, so I imagine it'd age well. It seems quite new to the States, in which case it might date her. It's an adorable name though. I also like Hollie._____________________________________________________________________Elinor

It's not new to the states, rather just uncommon. I had a friend named Holly as a little girl in the 70s and know a 36 year old Holly now. However it's been more traditionally used for December babies. Which is for the best, as people are always going to assume you were born around Christmas if your name is Holly!

That's funny you should say that people will assume you were born around Christmas. I was born in August but I think I've had only 1 or 2 people in my whole life ask if I was born at Christmas. I guess since Holly is so popular in the UK now, people don't make that assumption anymore.

I have a very good friend by the name of Holly and I've know her for a few years. It's aged well with her, imo and it sounds pretty.Well and she looks like Snowhite (she's 26 now) and an average name or a really out there name wouldn't suit her. I dunno. I guess only certain people can carry it but when you grow up with your name you learn how to carry it, you know? Well, most people do lolAnyhoo, I like the name.
