I would wonder if Ditto was a nickname or I would at least hope so. If not, I would wonder what the parents were thinking. I could see Ditto working as a nickname for an identical twin, but beyond, that I think it's too strange and informal. Aside from thinking of the word in general, I also think of a teacher I had in elementary school who called the copy machine the ditto machine. She also called the copies dittos. I liked her, but the whole ditto machine association makes it that much harder for me to take the name Ditto seriously.

Ditto Jane was the first combo that came to mind even though Ditto seems more masculine to me. And a for a boy: Ditto John or Ditto Jude.
