It's a fun name, and I really like the meaning. I used to find it somewhat comical sounding, but not so much anymore. After I became familiar with Tallulah Bankhead, the name started to seem more glamorous.

Tallie is my preferred nickname, but Lula is cute as well. I definitely prefer Lula as a nickname. It sounds insubstantial on its own.

I prefer Tallulah, but I like Talulla as well. I think that Tallulah would be easier for people to remember how to spell if Irish names aren't well-known in that area.

I personally think it sounds incredibly frilly and almost cartoonish.

I love the name Tallulah! I've had a soft spot for this name for years. I also think Tallie and Lula make gorgeous nn's. I would go with Tallulah over just Lula though and I prefer Tallulah to Talulla.

I'm sorry, but this name is just too cutesy and insubstantial to me. I have a hard time taking it seriously. :/

Tallulah is a bit over-the-top for me to ever consider using, however I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's daughter.
I prefer the spelling Tallulah over Tallula, it looks more complete.

I like it! It's sort of a gp of mine though because I know a lot of people find it ridiculous. Lula is a very cute nickname, and I like Tallie too.

Tallulah is adorable, and a less stigmatized alternative to Delilah, I have always found. I prefer Tallulah to Lula, which, to me, seems a little dippy on its own. Like the restaurant Luly's on King of the Hill.

Don't think I'll be in the majority here but personally I adore the name. People tell me it's a mouthful, over the top, trashy even. But I disagree. I think it's pretty, frilly, fun and unique. And in it's own right, even a little classic.

My favorite nickname for Tallulah is just Lu. Then I also like Lulu, Tula and Lula. So many cute choices.
