IMO you can't "balance out" or cancel out aspects of a first name by adding a middle name that has a different character. The first name is still used alone and is unchanged by the unspoken middle name. Riley Nicolette is my suggestion, but I don't suggest that putting Nicolette after Riley makes it any more fun to be a girl named Riley than it would be if her middle name was Herbert.
