This or That - Nicknames + suggestions?
I've been thinking about a few girl names recently, as I struggle with these and seem to STILL have no combos to work with! The few I've thought about lately are likely to get shortened, so which nns do you like best:
Florence - Flo or Florrie?
Dorothy - Dolly or Thea?
Beatrice - Bea, Beaty or Trixie?
Liliana - Lily, Lia (prn. Leah) or Ana (prn. ah-na)?
Matilda - Mattie, Tilly or Tilda? If you're feeling generous today: I seem to like more uncommon old-fashioned girl names, or just generally uncommon names (bar a few) - any suggestions for either individual names or combos?
Others I like include Lacey, Orla, Shiloh, Daisy, Morgan, Esme, Winter and Tia.
Thanks :)

Florrie
Thea
Bea - prefer Beatrice without a nickname
Lily
Mattie - I love Mattie for Matilda. Tilda would be second choice, Tilly is a dogs name to me

Florence- Flo
Dorothy- Dolly. I love Thea on its own. It doesn't make sense to me as a nn for Dorothy. Dorothea, yes.
Beatrice- Bea
Liliana- Lily
Matilda- Tilly

Florence - Florrie. I personally love Flora and Flossie but Florrie is sweet too.
Dorothy - Dolly. Thea doesn't really make sense unless you're using Dorothea. I like Dora or Dorie best but Dolly isn't bad.
Beatrice - Bea. This is a family name for me and I love Bea as a nickname.
Liliana - Lily. It's pretty and makes the most sense.
Matilda - Tilly. I also love Millie as a nickname.

Florence - definitely Flo
Dorothy - Dolly (only Thea if it's Dorothea)
Beatrice - Bea (Trix / Trixie if it's Beatrix)

I thought the same about Thea - I do quite like Dorothea too, but not sure if it would work terribly well in the UK.Ooh, I quite like Elodie Tia!
