Miranda
I know this name is quite common, but lately, it's really been growing on me...What are your opinions on Miranda? :)And how about these names? They have also been growing on me lately:
Adrian
Elissa
Julian
India
Adam
Rhiannon (technically, this has always been a favorite of mine, but I still like to hear people's opinions on it.)
River

I don't think Miranda is common at all. I've only ever met one. I like it, as long as Randy as a nickname is completely avoided.Of the others, I also like Julian (one of my favorites), Adam, and I kind of like Rhiannon.

I too really like Miranda especially in the combo Miranda Jane which strikes me as English boarding school storybookish and classy I had a love affair with Elissa a couple of years ago - I like how it's an ancient name in its own right and not just a form of Elizabeth or Alicia but I think the long E would be mispronounced to rhyme with Melissa so I've fallen slightly out of love with itHave always really liked Adrian - very handsome name

I really like the name Miranda, despite the fact that I have never met a Miranda I liked. Adrian has been really growing on me lately too, probably wouldn't use it as a fn though.
Elissa is pretty.
Julian always reminds me of big daddy, I love it.
India is interesting but it's not for me.
Adam is nice, I've always liked this name.
Rhiannon is alright. It's not my favorite or least favorite name.
River on a boy is so handsome. :)

I really like them all with the exception of River. I could picture myself using Adam and Miranda.

I never liked Miranda. I get this mental picture of this fat, pasty-faced girl with brick-red hair and buckteeth and thick glasses, always sucking up to her teachers and monopolizing class discussions to show how smart she is.Adrian: Same wimpy vibes as Julian.
Elissa: If you're going for that sound I'd just as soon see it as Alyssa.
Julian: Wimpy.
India: Kind of over the top.
Adam: Not bad at all.
Rhiannon (technically, this has always been a favorite of mine, but I still like to hear people's opinions on it.) Well, my opinion is is it sounds and looks like diarrhea medicine.
River: Not a name to me.
