Re: Mallory

I remember loving Mallory when I first heard it on Family Ties and being disappointed that the character was such a dim bulb. I thought Mallory sounded sharp and interesting. I still do, really. I've only met one IRL, and she was born in the 80s, so between her and Mallory Keaton, Mallory does have a bit of an 80s vibe for me. It doesn't feel really dated, though, unlike other 80s names like Dustin, Cory, Tiffany, or Crystal. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mallory in a BA today.
The meaning doesn't bother me, but name meanings rarely do.
