Hey wait, you changed your posting name. Missed that.Anyway, I've always really like Joachim and variants. I also pronounce it the German way. The only one I've ever known in real life was a guy I went to college with, and that's how he pronounced it so it's stuck. It also made it seem like a much more approachable, usable name to me too. I think it's very warm and friendly.
