I, too, think of Dolly Parton when I hear this.
I dont see a problem with giving Dolly as a given name. Actually Big Boy (the comic book character and mascot for the restaurants)'s "girlfriend" named Dolly.
And actually Dolly is Dolly Parton's given name with her middle name being Rebecca.
