I like Bernadette. It's got moxie.

Bernadette is one of those names I instantly disliked the first time I heard it and don't think I'll ever grow to like. It is just completely unappealing to me, mainly because of the sounds. I also think it's kind of frumpy.

It's my sister's name, and of course, i think it's lovely! I see it as a brown colour.

I don't really like the name Bernadette even thoug I do love the character on the Big Bang Theory, to me Bernadette is more of a middle name than a first name, though I do like the combo's Bernadette Evelyn and Bernadette Rose

I used to dislike it as well (I thought it was super ugly), then I suddenly saw beauty in it.

I have an entirely different kind of synesthesia and for me names don't have colours - but I guess that Bernadette is a blue cloud of a name, leaning aqua rather than grey and gradiating towards reddish, fleshy yellow. It is broad, shapeless, passive and fluffy. It needs edge. I don't like it at all, ever. Nonetheless, middle-name-wise, how about...?

I used to know a snooty Bernadette, but it has been years since I've been around her, so the name is more appealing to me these days. It sounds sophisticated and has old-fashioned charm without sounding too much like an old lady name.

I really do like Bernadette-whenever I hear the name, the song "Bernadette", by The Four Tops, starts playing in my head. Not being a synesthete (sp?), names don't give me colors or anything, but if I think hard about it, because of the "bear" part of the name, then she's a nice, autumnal brown.

First of all, I just wanted to say I love The Big Bang Theory! I think that Bernadette is an alright name, though I really like the name Bernard for a boy. I think that a good middle name for Bernadette would be Rose. The color that the name Bernadette makes me think of is a brownish red.

She's navy blue, a dash of light brown, and a dash of red.

I'm going to go with Bernadette Françoise.

I also have started to like it since watching The Big Bang Theory. I used to think Bernadette was a really frumpy old fashioned name (it's my grandma's middle name), but since the character is only young, I am finding it more useable now.
