I like Nina. It's simple, and easy to say and spell. It also sounds very youthful but can fit any age very well.

The one bad association I have with Nina is in those books (I can't remember the name of the series) where they have a two-child law, and all third children have to take on fake identities, and one of them complains that her new identity "Nina Idi" sounds like "Ninny Idiot". I don't know why I remember that scene from a series I read so long ago! But I don't think most people will think of Nina-->Ninny since the "i" sounds so different.

I was trying to come up with middle names that were simple, to go with the simplicity of Nina, but I couldn't think of very many! Maybe the contrast of a simple fn with a complex mn is good though.
