Love Quinn o a boy and would automatically think of a boy.

Yes, I think most people would assume Quinn is a girl. It doesn't sound particularly masculine, and Daria's little sister was Quinn.

I have always thought Quinn was a boys name, but that might have been because the first time I came across the name it was used for a male character in a book - still I do not see it as a feminine name though and if someone had that name I would automatically think they were a boy not a girl. Just my opinion though.

I'm starting to quite like the name Quinn too, but only for a boy. I'm not even sure why I like it! It's not a popular name here in Australia. Quin could work as a nn for a longer Quin name though.

I still think boy for Quinn and find it strange on girls. I like the name Quintin. Haven't known that many of either gender... and only 1 was a girl going by that name and 1 just has it as a mn... the other few have been boys.

I myself consider Quinn unusable because of Glee.

I like Quentin and Finn, both of which have already been suggested. I little Quentin would really be something.

The only ones I know are both male. Quinton "Quin" is about 25, and Quinn (as a full name) just turned 5. I don't mind it on a girl, but I would personally only use it for a boy. I prefer Quinn as a full name, but I like the Quin spelling as a nn- not sure why!

I automatically think of it as a girl name. I think it seems too feminine for a boy. Doesn't matter how many Ns. Sorry - I know how annoying that is, because I want to scream NO when people say they like Rowan for a girl. But the only Quinn I know is a little girl.

I do think that a Quentin, Tarquin, or Quinton could be called Quin familiarly, if it happened that he was a guy who could carry it off without it seeming feminine. And most guys likely could.

I think it's too feminine for a boy and too masculine for a girl! I suppose it's considered pretty much unisex, I don't think people would assume either gender.

Quin is pretty much the same as Quinn. Although, I think Quin as a nickname (perhaps for Quentin?) is alright.
