Emrys or Madoc
What do you think? I feel like they have a bit of charm to them.

I prefer Madoc. Emrys just comes off as-- I dunno-- weak to me.
I love Emrys, and Madoc is nice. Both are definitely charming.

I like them in theory, but I'm not sure they would be great in real life.
Emrys might be assumed to be a girl's name, because of Emma and Emily being so popular, and because Ys are so trendy.
Madoc is nice, but I don't like the fact it has "mad" in it. Also, it looks a bit incomplete where it ends in C.

I like the sound of both of them, but the spellings are throwing me off for some reason, not that I have a better way of spelling them. Neither of the names look visually pleasing to me. If I had to choose which one I prefer, I'd say Madoc because Emrys sounds a little feminine to me. I also prefer Maddox to Madoc, although thanks to Brangelina, anyone who uses Maddox would probably look like a copycat lol.
Maybe the spelling Maddoc, instead of Madoc?

I think Emrys is lovely.
Not a fan of Madoc. Whenever I see it I think "mad dog". Dunno why.

I like both, though I prefer Emrys, which I find especially dashing.
I prefer Emrys. It sounds handsome to me. Madoc reminds me of Maddox, which I don't care for. I like Madoc better than Maddox, but it still doesn't appeal to me all that much.
Love Emrys, just feels a bit more magical and less harsh than Madoc.
I'm not a fan of Madoc. I can't come up with a reason because I like other names being with Ma- and ending in -doc, but I think my problem with Madoc is most likely that all throughout my childhood, my doctor was Dr. Maddox and I strictly associate all similar names with this man and needless to say my experiences with him were not all pleasant. Since you do not have this unpleasant association, I see no reason why you shouldn't like the name. I don't see anything "wrong" with the name.
However, the name Emrys is one I have adored for quite some time. I love the sound; I love the meaning. I am quite taken with Welsh names in general, but this one is toward the top of my list. The meaning is fantastic and the look is enchanting without seeming like it came from The Lord of the Rings or a video game character. I certainly prefer this one to Madoc.

Both are handsome names. I like them. I think I might prefer Madoc in this case.
This is because of pronunciation issues. I think Emrys would be pronounced EHM-rees instead of EHM-ris. Though, Madoc might get Maddox sometimes.
Tough choice. I'll stick with Madoc.

Not a huge fan of Madoc, it looks incomplete, but I love Emrys. Very different and yet charming. I'd use it as a middle name.
