I associate Ryan with guys my age, personally.
However, there are some names that just don't ever stop feeling like "little kid" names to people. For me, Hannah is perpetually an 8 year old girl in pigtails and pink overalls, despite me knowing an 18 year old Hannah. Ryan could be that name for others.

It's all in associations. Hannah was my Grandmother's name.(pretty trendy!)so to me, it's an older lady's name. Though I like it, given that I loved my Grandmother.
