It seems to me to be a foreign (foreign to me) form of Lucy, and as such, I see no need for it. I usually like long girls' names that end in A, but in the case of Lucia, it would seem to me that I'd be using a foreign form of Lucy, and why would I do that? I love the name Lucy as it is, so why would I use a foreign form? It would also seem that I felt that I had to dress Lucy up, and I see no need to dress Lucy up.I picture a Lucia to be Italian or Spanish. It doesn't at all fit in with Genevieve and Rosemary, but then, I don't think that sibsets have to "match", anyway.
