Calixa
W/ Canada Day recently passed, random tidbits about Canada have been popping up, incl. that of a musical composer named Calixa Lavallee (sorry, I don't have Fr. accents on this computer, but there should be an accent over the first e in Lavallee, making it prn'd ay). Not a common name. Wondering what people think.

I kind of like it. It's interesting, but I think of Calixta right away, so it seems like something is missing.

First reacton: "what's wrong with Calista?"Nah, I just prefer Calista. Looks more classic and "clean".

Awesome! I really like Calixa. Also Calixta, but they feel different to me and I like the feel of Calixa a bit more.

First off, I read 'tidbits' as 'timbits', hahahah!
I don't really like Calixa... the pronunciation isn't clear to me. I want to pronounce it "ka-LEE-sha" which I doubt is correct. I don't like Calista or Calixta either, though, so it's really not my style. It looks nice, though.

lol on the Timbits... I'd go w/ a Fr. x sound on this one in the context.

It's ok. I prefer Calista though.
