Yes. I like the almost nature name quality and I like last-names-as-first-names. Brooks and Hawkins would make awesome brothers!

The name sounds fine. I just have to wonder if he'd be confused often with Brooke. BTW, a baby named Brooks William was baptized a week ago. His older sibs were Brady and Blair (g).

I think it sounds like a butler's name.

I really like this name. My only worry is that it is so similar to Brooke.
