I love Diego. You live in Australia, right? I work in a Before and After School Care and we have a Diego there and it is far far farrrrr from the most 'foreign' sounding name- I think you will find no one will even blink an eyelid at it. We live in such an ethnically diverse society and kids' names really do reflect that. I very much doubt that your Diego would ever be singled out for his name or have the most unusual name in his class.
