It is a bit strange because in the USA at least we do pronounce it with the TH sound but since our culture is so diverse if we are corrected about the how a name is pronounced we will try to say it the correct way afterwards. :)

The pronouciation with the th sound is the right one but Germans would pronounce it as an s - sound.
