Dinah Blythe doesn't sound good at all to me because of the double /eye/ sound. Bleh. If you're going for DEE-na, then Dina, Dena, or Deena would be more appropriate. I think you could find another way to create the oh-so-Southern combo you seem to be going for. :) Dinah Blanche would work better.

I've never really liked either Dinah or Blythe/Blithe (as a name), so I can't say I like the combo.

I like Blythe because of the "y" going below the line;I like the look of it.

Blythe looks better. Dinah is fine, but I don't really care for it. The combo is nice.

I prefer Blythe, but both seem to be two completely different names.

Dinah Blythe is lovely.

Blythe. I say it with an unvoiced th like in 'thin.' I would say Blithe with a voiced th like in 'this.' Blythe is a name, and I like it. But Blithe is just a word meaning something not very namey, like 'chirpy and glib,' as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not excited about Dinah Blythe. The consonant sounds don't work together IMO. It's like orange, green, and white, and too square with the two stressed I sounds (I mean square shape, not dorkiness). And it has a 'nub' sound in the middle. How about Daphne Blythe or Ada Blythe.

I like Blythe better but agree your combo doesn't really work together as the sounds are too similar. Blithe looks like it should be pronounced differently than blythe, like with, though I know it isn't. Blythe looks more namey.

I like Blithe, it seems fresh and clean. Blythe feels a bit dusty and worn in comparison.

I do not like the combo Dinah Blythe / Dinah Blithe.

Blythe would be my pick. I've never seen or heard of Blithe, so it looks like it's trying to get too "cool". Dinah is a lot of fun. Personally, I would pair her with something more common than Blythe, but it doesn't sound bad.

Blythe looks more correct to me. I actually always thought the word was spelled that way too until, like, college. I think which one I'd prefer depends on the combo. In the case of Dinah, I'd prefer Blithe. Dinah is the sort of pioneery name I love to pair with Puritany things. So I'd spell it like the word, and that's one great combo.

Blythe is a more appealing spelling to me than Blithe, perhaps because it looks more like a name and the Y spelling also seems like it might be easier to know how it should be pronounced. Looking at Blithe it reminds me of words like blight and bright.
I think Dinah Blythe looks best to my eyes too, and the combo has a very sweet sound to it!

I don't care for that combo. The double long-i sound is too much. (In the way I'm saying it, anyway.)

Blithe. Especially if pronounced "Blih(Like him)-th(Like thimble)".

Dinah is an okay name, but I think variants of Dianne would fit better with Blythe/Blithe.
