I've never seen it. If I were reading a book and had to guess, I'd pronounce it coor-FEHV'r or maybe COOR-fayv. I'd pronounce Cour as Coo(r), since it looks French. And like erb816, I immediately thought of the phrase "curry favor" which means, basically, suck up. And Cour sounds a lot like "cool." Those two English sounds are why I do not like it. It does look cool, though.
